Our annual early season dairy seminars are taking place this week.
The venues are Listowel in the Listowel Arms on Tuesday the 13th at 8pm and Adare in the Woodlands house hotel on Thursday the 15th at 8pm.
We have managed to secure some great well known and respected speakers for each session with a practical knowledge of the Irish dairying and the issues that come with it.
Among the topics our customers have asked the speakers to discuss are:
World Milk Markets and price.
Dairy nutrition in a post quota scenario,
Issues around calving
Cow nutrition in early lactation.
For those of you who have attended these meetings before you know that there is plenty of room for a back and forth discussion on these topics and questions are welcome.
As always we hope that we can solve some problems and give some guidance on what promises to be a challenging year.
